This past week we took a trip, as a family, to our cabin in Ashely National Forest (the middle of nowhere). Literally there is nothing around forever we are just surviving in the middle of the forest. No running water, no electricity and no cell service. You're probably now wondering how we do it...well I'm here to tell you we wonder the exact same thing every time. I have been going to my cabin since I was a brand new baby and the same goes for my parents so it's a family vacation tradition we try to make happen every summer. Although the cabin doesn't look like much and we may refer to it as the shack it is a place where our family really grows and we manage to have a lot of fun. We have been there is snow/hail storms when its freezing and also when its blazing hot and no one can stand to go outside but we always turn our situations around and make them fun. We fish on the reservoir, ride dirt bikes and 4-wheelers on the trails and tracks, shoot guns and play games around the campfire. The cabin is a place I always regret going but love when I get there and can't wait to take my own family there.
